Eight O'clock Original Ground Coffee Review

Thanks for tuning in, JoJo and I have been enjoying this blend for a few days and wish to share our laser like scrutiny and pinpoint accurate taste bud tingling titilating insight into it. On a side note, JoJo does not wake up before Eight O'clock, and sometimes he does not wake up after it, usually after a long night of hunting homeless antarctic cats.

So beautiful, so bland...

Taste: JoJo likes the mild and somewhat dull notes in this coffee. I however did not, I think it falls flat and it falls flat quick. I think it has some sweeter and perhaps even fruit like tones, however it is so mild that I don't really pick up specifics on the tongue. Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy this coffee as something to calm down in the evening with, but it isn't going to wake you up in the morning. It bills itself as fresh, bold and expertly roasted, I agree with the fresh part. Taste gets a 2.5 out of 5(fight with JoJo ensues)

Aroma: Maybe it's because it's so fresh smelling, but JoJo and I agree, that the aroma is tops! I take a whiff of this and I am thinking excellent coffee(which isn't neccessarily matched by the taste). It's like magic to you nose with strong hints of what seems like chocolate to me but definately a nice big coffee smell as well. JoJo only agrees though because he sees the enjoyment in my nose that he wishes he could have in his. Aroma gets a 4.5 out of 5!





Evil frozen homeless arctic cat!



Packaging: JoJo rendered himself unconcious by staring at this packaging for more than thirty minutes once, it was a sad day, we had to revive him with smelling salts made from arctic cat excrement(the only thing strong enough to penetrate his nose). The packaging in my view is very straightforward, simple, yet somewhat elegant but as dull as the flavor of the coffee, if it only looked and tasted the way it smelled(like the arctic cat excrement) it would go further in our book. Packaging: 2.5 out of 5.

Staying Power: This brew will not be on our shelves long, neither JoJo or myself are overally fond of it but will give it props for being an average offering, Eight O'Clock can do better than this in my opinion, and they have. Overall this brew is a solid 3 out of 5, and we suppose that aint bad.
